Colour changing trainers

These Nike Air Force Ones have just been applied with a special coating that allows them to change colour depending on their heat. This technology, was first used in the eighties' Global Hypercolour T-shirts, and has now been applied by American shoe customiser, Backfist Customs, to change these trainers from purple to blue when they get hot, and back to purple as they cool down.

I think that it is great that even though there are bringing out new technologies, we can still find new uses for existing technology and bringing it back through new products. I think these trainers are incredible and they are not the only new products that uses this sort of technology.
