Looking at the design news I found T3 Awards at 10: the best design and innovation award winners, which intrigued me because it is interesting to see what people believe are the top designs and what kind of products/services these are.
Design and innovation easily represents the most diverse collection of new technologies and advancements. Past winners have not only wowed us, but they’ve gone on to fundamentally change the way we use technology. Many have become integral parts of how we live ours lives today, seeding into the very DNA of our working and personal lives.
This Microsoft HoloLens was the winner in 2015, in a year filled with headsets geared towards virtual reality, Microsoft dared to take those principles one step further. They created a legitimate augmented reality experience with applications in almost every industry.

As a designer I think that the world is becoming very dependent on technology and so it is very interesting to see the technologies that people think are the best. It is clear that so many everyday tasks can now be done using technology and will be very interesting to see what kind of products people come up with in the future to try and improve our lifestyle. I am very intrigued into what design will be the winner of 2016.
