LocTote

Looking into new designs I found LocTote which is a product currently on KickStarter asking for pledges to bring the idea to life. I looked into the back story of the idea and found that it came as a result of a family vacation in St. Croix. Don Halpern decided to stay out on the beach and do some snorkeling. Before heading out into the water, he put his phone, earbuds, and cash in his shoe and covered with them with a towel. He saw an individual shuffling through his stuff, however when he got back to the shore his stuff was gone. From this he decided that a solution to prevent something like this from ever happening again was needed.

And so he came up with the LocTote bag.

The video explains what the bag does and the materials used which make this product safe place to put your personal items and valuables while you do something else. The purpose for creating this bag really is that simple. This product is essentially a portable safe that lets you live more and worry less. The idea I think is brilliant and very simple.
