Live Project

This Friday 29th April, I will be starting a live project at university with the company RPC who offer an extensive range of standard containers suitable for different product types and market sectors. We will be meeting Ed Arnold and Brian Lodge who are part of RPC and they will be presenting us with a project brief and some background information. I am excited to find out what the brief will be and get designing.

I have taken some time to look into existing packaging designs that RPC have done and after visiting the factory in Rushden I am intrigued into what we will be doing. It is going to be a great opportunity to work with RPC on this project and I will hopefully develop my design skills as well as personal skills including communication. It is important as a designer to be able to communicate our ideas well and I hope during this valuable project I can develop as a product designer.
