During visual studies over multiple weeks we will have to develop work involving the use of kitchen utensils. The first week we filled an A1 sheet full of drawings, however we had to use marker! No pencil to give us a guide, this was a hard task because I only like drawing in pencil so that I can rub things out. BUT I got into the task and enjoyed having to draw different shapes and overlap them to create a interesting looking sheet of images.

From this we then had to trace some interesting shapes that were abstract, so if people look at it they know that pieces look familiar to them and recognise them as kitchen utensils, but overall the shape is different! It is hard to explain but the images show the shapes that I decided to do:

These were cut out to use as stencils for the following weeks.
