Workshop Skills

As an initial project we developed practical skills in the workshop, which was useful to practice using the different machines again. This included cutting pieces of wood on the band saw and sanding 45 degree angles on the edges to create a cube.

Also we developed skills using different materials, blue foam is a material that we will use for models and so getting to use it was helpful. Using the band saw we cut round circles drawn on two faces to create a shape which we then sanded into a sphere.
